Fruit scone didn't have much fruit. Jam was just a runny goo with no fruit. Tea was ok.

Lovely tea room, you have to go up the stairs and then turn right to find it. They take walk-ins as well so i managed to get a table for myself. I got a black rose tea with a plain scone (clotted cream&raspberry jam). It was really good, probably the best scone i’ve ever had. Quick service as well. There’s also a cool gift shop as well if you fancy.
Fwiw : There’s a wee service charge (mine was 87p but it’s well worth it)

Smashed avocado on sourdough with smoked salmon, my new favourite breakfast! Unique tearoom with full menu. Exceptional service. Our first time here but will be back next time we’re in Glasgow.

We always have a good meal here, I noticed that they now add 10% service charge to your bill without informing you, I did not see any notification of this.
This seems to be normal for a lot of places in Glasgow, I was going to leave a cash tip as I do when I receive good service, but it is now being taken out of our hands.

Been here twice in the last few months for afternoon tea and had a great experience both times. Prices are very reasonable and on top of that the staff come across very pleasant and welcoming. Definitely be coming back and recommending to others :)

The staff have a very poor knowledge of the difference between gluten free and dairy free. Not great service, I was very disappointed.

We stumbled upon this little hidden gem this morning, and what a fantastic find! From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. Service was fast and efficient, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.
We will most certainly be returning – thank you for such a lovely visit!

It was a very lovely café with a great atmosphere.
I wanted to enjoy an afternoon tea, so I was really happy to come here.
The staff were very kind and provided excellent hospitality.
The afternoon tea was about £18, and I could get refills for the tea. I had a wonderful time here.

Cullen skink soup a disappointment - gloopy and floury, as if the flour hasn't been cooked out enough. Lots of potato but not a lot of fish in my bowl. Left half of it as couldn't bear the gloopy texture. The rock music playing obtrusively throughout the 4pmish visit is at odds with the decor and heritage of this afternoon tea place and the inappropriate nature of this muzak in itself was enough to spoil this visit. I can only imagine what Kate Cranston would have to say, let alone Mackintosh tourists who have made a pilgrimage to this place.

Called in for a light lunch - soup tasted amazing, so fresh and homemade, service was fantastic, clean and a nice relaxed atmosphere - would definitely come back on a return visit to Glasgow
